Great place…great selection of beer and food! Steve is awesome, please ask for him when you are here!
January 18th, I reached out to multiple breweries in Charlotte as an artist I represent, Damian C. had a house concert set for Saturday, February 3rd and the RSVPs had well outgrown the original space. I asked the host if there were any restaurants and / or breweries she could recommend for us to find a larger room. She gave over a dozen options with, Brewers at 4001 Yancey being at the top of the list. It did not take long to learn why Brewers at 4001 Yancey was at the top of the list. I heard back immediately from their events director, Austin Abel. We decided use of their private room, as there was huge basket ball game that same time. We ended up opening the event to the public and it was an overwhelming success. Ultimately 70+ attended, everyone had a wonderful dinner along with world class craft beer capping off and incredible experience that guests are still taking about weeks later. I HIGHLY recommend the Brewers at 4001 Yancey for anyone looking to host a private event in Charlotte and / or anyone looking for an exceptional world class craft brewery experience with a welcoming local vibe. The owners combined year(s) of experience shines through in everything they do. I can’t enough great things about this place!
Dakotah the bartender was our server, he was AMAZING! Much like the Barbie drinks! The Hi Barbie is my favorite (and I personally requested a little extra glitter because I feel it needed a touch more sparkle ✨ ). We have been here a few times over the years but it seems to be doing better than ever! The food is so much better than it used to be (full of flavor)!
What an amazing find! My wife and I had a 3 hour layover in Charlotte so we decided to pop over to a brewery to grab a bit and a beer. The service was great (I think his name was Trent or Trip), the beer was great, and the appetizers were great. Seriously, the fried green tomatoes had this sweet tomato chutney on top which was incredible. The fried cauliflower was also amazing. I almost didn't give this place a 5* because we also got a fried chicken sandwich which was just good, needed more flavor. But everything else was so good that I felt like I had to give it 5*. Beer 4* Service 5* Value 5* Food 4.5*
George was the absolute best !!! Great service
I always come to this place and always enjoy the vibe. Plus, employees are genuinely nice.
The Brewers at 4001 Yancey have an amazing Thursday special; a delicious cheese burger and fries for $6. They have a nice Pilsner on tap that pairs well with the burger. Their food is good pub food, they’re open late, their beer offering is not the best in this neighborhood but good enough. I ate at the bar and had lovely Kath as my server. The service was top shelf.
Chelsea provided us excellent service during our evening for family dinner. We had a food allergy in the family and she was able to help us promptly with a new bun! (No picture because she ate it) We will be coming back soon and hoping to get the same great service! Ask for Chelsea!
