Amazing spot to get your carb fill. If you are from out of town, parking is at the back. Pricey but food is delicious. Salmon could be fresher.

This store is like a Christmas store!! You go crazy, just seeing all the different varieties of breads, coffee, bake goods, pies, etc. If you're on a diet, this is not your store. I love it!!!

We traveled for this place and it did not disappoint for its breakfast. This place is narrow and busy but the staff is wonderful. The egg and cheese on the English muffin is a HUGE must. It's messy but beyond flavorful. The pastries were delicious as well.

I’ve been wanting to try Bread Furst, and after seeing it come up on Somebody Feed Phil it gave me even more motivation to finally try it! We came Sunday morning and the line was out the door. It’s fun to watch them making the bread and all their pastries as you walk in. There is a huge selection of grocery items, take home meals and of course fresh pastries and sandwiches. We ordered the messy egg on an everything bagel, the ham and cheese biscuit, a chocolate chip cookie, old fashioned donut, and an iced raspberry white chocolate latte. Food wise everything was delicious! The messy egg was good and a good quantity. The ham and cheese biscuit was great and the cookie and donut were good too. The latte was ok in my opinion. I wish it had more of the raspberry flavor. There’s limited seating. There’s one long table inside and a couple tables outside. We were lucky to grab a spot inside. Overall a good place to pickup fresh bread and other items, and the messy egg sandwich is definitely the highlight!

This used to be one of my favorite bakeries in DC, but I was disappointed with everything I ordered today. The coconut pie tastes like straight up scrambled eggs and is inedible. The chocolate chip cookie did not taste fresh or good. The canale, which used to be my fave here, was way too sweet. The banana pudding wasn’t nearly sweet enough. I spent quite a lot of money with the 9.5% service fee added and can’t eat any of it. Sadly, this will be my last time going here. I hope they get back on track. Also notice that neither the owner nor management has responded to any of the reviews, making me think they’re leaning on their recent Netflix exposure and are no longer prioritizing quality. Want great quality pastries in DC? Try Nino’s on L St. Consistently awesome.

(Tried reaching out privately and got no response) Starting with the not so pleasant order taker. I placed my order and didn't know I needed to go to another place to pay and stood there thinking I was paying her since she didn't give me any kind of direction when I placed my order. Instead, after a pause of us both standing, she said "ok, what am I missing?" Meaning, why are you still standing there? I moved on and just took it that it was busy and pleasantries are not a given anywhere (except at chick fil a). Now to my order which I took to go and didn't see until I was home. I ordered a jamon et buerre. Baguette was nicely made, but had one thin slice of ham, no visible butter and one tiny line of dijon. For $12.50 it was a total disappointment. 2nd item was a simple plain bagel with cream cheese and bacon. First wow was how tiny the bagel was. Basically a hockey put. Certianly not a NY style bagel (e.g. Brookly Bagel in Arlington). Then on top of that tiny bagel, they didn't add the bacon which I paid extra for. So...to sum up my experience, not so great service and even worse food enjoyment. Not what I thought I'd get after seeing let's feed Phil.
