Born in 1982, Bread Basket Bakery grew into a thriving staple in Downtown Saratoga Springs, New York over four decades. In 2020, Ed and Lisa Mitzen, the founders of Business for Good™, purchased the bakery, committing to keep the same delicious recipes that made Bread Basket successful. In 2022, with high-demand for our custom cakes, Bread Basket Cake Shop opened in Saratoga Springs, New York. As Good businesses, only one thing changed: all profits from the Bakery and Cake Shop are donated to charities fighting food insecurity and hunger.
