Everybody is so welcoming and the food always goes hard. Do people say that? "Goes hard?"
Reliably excellent. We order once a week for take away.
Very nice attendance. They include tips on the price which make the experience even better Food is more than great!
As far as I know, Brasa makes the best Cuban style beans in the Twin Cities. I should know because I'm from Cuba originally. They also happen to be one of the most nutritious legumes, delicious "black pills" for health. Also appreciate the many vegan options.
Love Brasa Great Food and love this location for a good date night.
Food was ok and service was friendly but poorly executed. We got served our appetizers and then our entres two minutes later. No time to eat them before the entres arrived. The guacamole and chips were ok, guacamole was bland and boring especially for a supposedly Hispanic inspired menu, and the yuca fries were undercooked, chalky, and bland. My friend ordered the smothered chicken sandwich which he said was ok but the only flavor was in the somewhat spicy sauce. I ordered their flagship chicken and it was dry and relatively flavorless. The grab and go chickens at Kwik Trip and Cub are juicer and have more flavor. Overall disappointing for such a confusingly highly reviewed restaurant.
Hadn't been to this location of Brasa before and haven't been to any of their locations since pre-pandemic. The menu feels different than I remembered it, but I was drawn to many choices. Chose the vegan bowl, which was excellent. Loved the flavorful rice and their use of curry in this dish. Had an unsweetened iced tea, which turned out to have a peach flavor. I probably wouldn't have ordered that, but it turns out I loved that too. Near Lake Harriet in a largely residential neighborhood, but there were plenty of places to park on the street. The building is facing south, so enjoyed the sun streaming in while we lunched.
Food is reasonably priced and so flavorful.
