I'm biased cause I have family who work for this rest group, but this place is amazing. Sooo happy I can now get my okra fries fix without going downtown. The desi salad is fabulous, too.
Everything is delish but I love the Vada Pav and the bhel puri! So many flavors and so authentic to real Indian street food. The restaurant even feels like a typical Indian eatery (yet with A/C) and the decor is spot on!
It would be hard to overstate the excitement in West Asheville when it was announced that a Chai Pani relation was coming to our part of town. The food is great and they were kind enough to put my all-time favorite sandwich on the menu - the Paneer Tikka Roll! It is just about the tastiest thing you can eat. It is a medley of flavors that doesn't just work, it sings! All the staff are lovely to interact with and we adore the way it has been decorated. Be sure to check out the Rules that are posted on one of the columns. Your whole table will be laughing! The only reason I docked one star from the atmosphere is that it's pretty loud in there. I'm not sure how that could be remedied in a fast-casual setting, but it's a reality. Also not a fan of the non-compostable cups that drinks are served in, but at least they upgraded the silverware to compostable stuff. All in all, this comes with one of my highest recommendations. You will *not* be disappointed in your food.
Incredible food, lots of vegan and vegetarian options, and it was quick. Only downside is it’s pricey since each dish is a small tapas style serving and you have to order at least a couple per person to fill up.
