I've been disappointed with this place a few times already. I emailed them already about their quality not being the same from the past and even question one of the ladies from the front desk.but it's really not worth the high price anymore.
Tasty bread
Like the coffee too
I used to buy bread, cookies, pastries for my family for years at this bakery.
The quality was always outstanding.
Sadly, not anymore.
Ever since Hilton (the original owner ) passed away , the quality started to slide down steadily.
Seems, like the new owners are more concerned with quantity how to sell more without paying any attention to quality, some of their breads taste like a saw dust and are not really edible. At least not the Bon Ton standards.
Sad to see this business losing it's high standards and turning into another overpriced pretentious store.
First and last time ! Awful staff, unpleasant...with a very prejudicial attitude!. Also over priced merchandise!
Bon Ton is one of my favorite bakeries in the city. I love seeing how creative they are with the desserts and pastries. I'd easily go broke trying to buy everything I liked the sound of - average price for each special dessert is around $8-$9! It's nice as a treat once in a while. Their full size cakes are always a family favorite as well, the carrot cake in particular is amazing. I'm a customer for life.
If I had to describe Bon Ton Bakery in one word it would be Delicious !
