Like Nada and Sotto, the experience is unique to the restaurant. The service is incredible and the food is unmatched. It really is a shame that Michelin doesn’t come to Cincinnati, because Boca would absolutely have a star or two. Cant recommend the place enough. Vegetarian options: The provide an entirely separate menu with just vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Before any order they always clarify any dietary restrictions to be sure. Parking: Parking is tough due to the location being in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. Plenty of garage parking around and valet service l.
Best service I've ever had. Also the priciest. Everyone is packed in and it is very fancy. For date nights and special occasions. The vegan options are good but don't go if you are going for vegan food. It is a whole experience. The upstairs is more open. There is a small bar on the bottom. Next time I am going to just get a drink and the sorbet at the bar.
The best food, service, and atmosphere that I could ask for. Everything was absolutely perfect and we’ll definitely be back. Recommend the Amish chicken, diver scallop, oysters, leeks, and caviar!
I took my adult kids here for a birthday celebration. Service, food and atmosphere was amazing! My only feedback is that it seems inappropriately expensive. The portion sizes are very small. We had a bottle of wine, one of the few under $100. It was $200 per person which just seemed a little out of line, especially because we didn’t really leave full or go crazy on menu selections. Would I go back? Probably, but realizing it’s $200 + per person meal.
Boca has great ambiance and a stellar reputation, but I found the food for its price point and portion are not up to expectation. The Amish chicken was almost inedibly salty. The pomme frittes are the most exciting in terms of history and texture. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. There is no public parking garage adjacent so parking can be a bit tricky. Parking: It’s downtown Cincinnati and parking can be hard to find.
This was by far the best dining experience I have ever had in Ohio. The food was spectacular! Each and every staff interaction was thoughtful and warm, and our server, David, was outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, and provided so many insights regarding the menu as well as wine pairings. You can instantly tell he loves what he does. With David's help, we chose a few different dishes to share, and we were very impressed with the quality, presentation, and flavors in each dish. From the hors d'oeuvres to dessert, we were impressed and well taken care of. I recommend you visit if you are looking for an extremely elevated dining experience.
I had a very satisfying meal here. I ate at the bar, bartender was cool and helpful. I had a salad and the scallop, both were excellent. I can highly recommend this spot
Food is phenomenal. Didn't love where we sat- bar area tables. Very loud and we were in the middle of two other couples. Their tables were within an arm reach of either side of our table. Tables were so close together that when one of the couples came in to sit down the male almost sat on my wife's lap trying to get into the shared pew style seating arrangement. Service at our table was good. Head server explained everything very well. Staff was great about water refills and utensil change out. One of the staff was standing over my shoulder having a personal conversation with the couple next to us for our entire first course which was kind of annoying and distracting. I guess the couple were regulars or something. Lastly, not sure if the valet is affiliated only with Boca or the whole strip of restaurants but they smoked in our car or right outside of it and then got in.
Loved the gnocchi and beef Wellington. A little pricey for some dishes as they were in small portions but the taste was amazing!
We enjoy our dinner and would be back again.
