Ate twice in here whilst staying nearby, it's a proper no frills normal pub with sport on multiple TVs. The food is superb, some of the best pub food I've ever had, especially the curry which was a Chicken Balti. It was a proper thick dry sauce , 100% homemade, probably best curry I've had in a pub or restaurant, loads of big chunks of chicken ....mega!

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and the kids loved the food

It is a really nice pub. Good food and drink.

The main meals are lovely, was a Guinea pig for the starter but it wasnt for us. The cask ale was a lovely pint.

We decided to give the pub a go and so glad we did the food was amazing proper chips perfectly cooked and our lass had the best plough mans ever the only down side was the bread cut into triangles come on how can you make chip butties with triangular bread
