There was a time when I went to the Bluestem all the time. Since then it seems to have gone downhill. I showed up there an hour before close only to find out that they'd shut off their ovens. This menat I could not get the Falafel Gyro that I remember being quite good. I cannot confirm that this is still the case as they again shut down their oven long before close. Their hours are greatly reduced from what they once were. The person that took my order that they could not make was rude to me about it. I almost left entirely but, since I'd made a special effort to go there, setting for having a coffee on the patio which was okay. I can report that they have remodeled their patio since I'd last been there. It had fallen into disrepair. I wish it didn't come at the expense of the quality of service. It's sad to be treat as I was today at a place I was once a regular at. I doubt I will return.
No better cup of coffee in Manhattan! Wonderful pastries and yummy lunches too!
Great place to enjoy some coffee chat with friends, and listen to live jazz. Busy but worth it
The Greek plate is a salad, faked out again.
Love the garden veggie quiche and Greek salad!! You should also give the latte a chance. Cozy atmosphere.
Coffee and food were good, service was even better
Le lieu est super cosy, leur petit déjeuné est original
