I love this place. The grouper bites were delicious and the cocktails are always great

This was my second visit to the Blue Drum and I hope to go back many more times. The food has never disappointed me. I have tried a hamburger platter and for dinner I had the three protein fried fish and it was all outstanding. The pineapple coleslaw is amazing! I hope to try their hamburger nights on Monday and maybe one day can afford to do the Tuesday night crab legs. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful view so take the chance to eat outside if the weather is right. I highly recommend a reservation for this popular place.

We continue to enjoy this place. Happy hour offers some great food bites and drinks. Get the grouper bites for sure but it is all good eats.

The food was excellent! The atmosphere was awesome! So they bring my salad. And what do I hate? Then they bring my husband mussels (apps) with our dinners! Why??? When he specifically asked them not to!!! We sat at the bar for dinner. The one bartender was not that great. There was a new bartender on who did not know what she was doing. The guy next to me asked for another beer she left it in front of him unopened, then came back later and opened it for him. If you're serving top-notch stuff, you need top-notch servers, esp at that bar. She wasn't sure what to recommend off the menu since "she was new here." Neither of the bartenders could pronounce the special dessert off the regular dessert menu. Really? Chocolate chip milk and cookie cake? That's hard to pronounce? But whatever. Overall, would I go back, yes, but Lord, I hope they have at least 1 new bartender.

We had reservations on the outside patio. The weather was rainy and cold. We had to ask for a space heater and one was brought after some time. We had drinks and decided to have dinner elsewhere.

Updated We've been back a couple of times and service has greatly improved! Bumped up my rating. We dined there on a Wednesday evening. Had a reservation, but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table. It was super hot outside so we reserved indoors. The bartender proceeded to open the huge window to service outside customers and left it open and the AC couldn't keep up. We sat for 20 minutes completely unacknowledged by anyone. We finally had our wait staff come take our drink orders and we waited another 20 minutes for her to bring them; a full 40 minutes after we were seated, we got water and drinks. The food arrived quickly and was fantastic, but no amount of heart of the house magic can make up for the front of the house mess. She crab soup was served with an iced tea spoon! It felt like everyone front of the house was completely new to service industry and didn't care a bit about their customers. When we got to the car, I realized I'd forgotten my glasses (my face was so sweaty at the table, I had to take them off). I returned and the hostesses didn't even pause their personal conversation to look at me. It was okay because of course the table hadn't been bussed. I got my glasses and left. The owners clearly have a lot of training to do to get their front of the house staff up to the level of their kitchen staff, otherwise this great concept/huge investment is going to fail due to inexperienced, unprofessional servers, bar staff, and hostesses.

We're local and it was our first time here. We made dinner reservations for a birthday after having a birthday cruise on Pontiki. Everyone was super friendly, food was delicious! Cella was our server and she was amazing! We'll definitely be back.

Went on national margarita day and the margaritas were great. The bartender mixed them perfectly. My wife and I enjoyed the food and music. Our server Cella was great and attentive. We will be back soon!

Really great brunch, and Cella was a great waitress. She was very friendly!
