Uber driver suggested this restaurant and Roosters. So I decided to go to both. I left Roosters and walked 5 minutes to Blondies. I placed my order, found me a seat and waited like 10-15 minutes the waiter approached me and said, that they were out of the salad dressing and suggested another one. Neither was to my liking so I asked for a refund, I went back upto the register and just asked for my bill to be refunded, I was unable to get any wifi and I had needed to do some important work. The GM Kelly came up and said we already made your drink so we would have to charge you for it. I proceeded to tell her I never got the drink and nor did they call me up to the bar to pick up my drink. Long story short she was mad at me for canceling my meal when they didn’t have what I wanted. She also failed to return all the food items on my bill and she proceeded to walk away. Kelly customer service was one of the worst Ive ever experienced, and will never go back to this establishment.
Wanted to order biscuits and gravy as a platter (+ eggs, sausage, something to that order), but it was denied. Ordered steak 'n eggs instead: medium rare steak and scrambled eggs with mocha latte with vanilla shots. Received latte with coffee spilled over the cup. Plasticware was the only utensils available. Waited 45 minutes for food to receive well done steak. The food still tasted fine, but the wait and quality of service is subpar. Not recommended.
My food was burnt they didn’t have any champagne to make drinks the food took forever to come out
Had the steak breakfast sandwhich for take out and it was incredibly delicious
Love ❤️ this place! The service, food, & atmospher was heavenly! If you're ever in Dwntown St.Louis it's a must-go!
Wait on a Sunday at noon was really long but it was worth it. The food was delicious and we loved the hot pop overs with the fancy flavored butter and jelly selections to top them. Lots of coffee, tea, and smoothie choices. Nice breakfast and lunch menu. They have breakfast and lunch kids menus. My only complaint was there wasn't enough tables. The couches work for a coffee shop but there aren't enough places to eat at. The service was slow because they needed more servers. Parking: Free parking at city meters on Sundays! We felt lucky to get a close spot at 11 am on Washington Ave. Kid-friendliness: They have breakfast and lunch kid menus. They were nice to our kids.
Overall nice brunch spot, my lady and I felt accounted for while we waited which is always nice. The waiting area was a lil cramped at times and the food had a little room for improvement but the staff was pleasant enough to make it a good time.
Went in with 2 people at 1:40pm they close at 3pm. There were only 4 people in front of us. Got told that our order wouldn’t be taken. The food looked good and the restaurant looked really cool but too bad we were denied service. Probably won’t go again❤️
Wow this food was SPECTACULAR!! We had a brunch with French toast, blueberry pancakes, potatoes, and a breakfast Flatbread. One of the best restaurants downtown, no question. Strongly recommend!
