Manuela and Bryan welcomed me like I was entering their home. Very cozy atmosphere, amazing food and exceptional customer service! I would highly recommend Blackfriars Bistro & Catering!

Horrible experience with this catering and restaurant service. Emanuela who is the owner is very rude. She least understands the requirements of the clients. After confirming that Blackfriars will be doing the catering for my event, she did not have any follow-ups or conversation after giving the confirmation. Asked to pay $500 deposit first to continue any conversation, which we paid the minute she asked for it. When asked about tasting of food, she said there is no tasting but we can come to the restaurant and have food with cost. For 3 people we paid $270 for just some snacks and a meal. Also left a big tip to the server there who was also very rude. After almost spending $800 on this scam catering, Emanuela decided to not do the catering. Ignored several calls we made. This is horrifying experience and I would strongly recommend to not consider this bistro for any events and even visiting their restaurant. Their food is mediocre. These people are scam and please be aware of them. It is better to not host the event than to have them serve in one. Horrible, arrogant, greedy for money and the worst is no communication skills or commitment. Very surprising that they are surviving in the market with this service.

Delicious food, generous portions, lovely service, quiet atmosphere. A superb dining experience in a local neighbourhood environment. The chef really has it going on and our server was excellent. Limited wine selection but what was available were.all good wines. Recommended.

Visited the Emporio today, first time. A fabulous assortment of products, prepared foods, pastries and grab & go foods of all kinds. We picked up some scones and a beet soup.

Wonderful food, in a nice hideaway. This is my top choice for business meetings in London. Quite atmosphere with great food, and the staff are wonderful.

Excellent service. Lovely menu and great choice of specials. Tables are nicely spaced apart for conversations with your party. The pate was great to start, and my salmon was perfectly cooked with a nice lemony couscous. Great experience.

We had an afternoon cocktail party catered this fall at a venue by Blackfriars. Everything was done to a tee! Food was more than fabulous, staff were just awesome! Everyone in attendance just raved about the food and presentation. Thank you Brian and Manuela for making our day!!! Made it all so simple and fancy!
