THE BEST FOOD AND EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME! ILL BE BACK EVERY WEEKEND!
The food is really good. I enjoyed the scallops, rib eye, ahi tuna and their sweet potato loaded. The service is hit or miss. It's just not s super welcoming environment and could be cleaner.
Came here for Valentine's Day dinner date with my wife. Reserved a booth a week in advance also. The food, drink, atmosphere, and servers were great. We had a good time. The only grip I have was considering I reserved a booth a week in advance we were still sat at a middle table. It seemed the hostist was a little too busy and stressed with her job and couldn't handle it properly at the time. We were a little upset we didn't get a booth for an even more romantic dinner but that was the only thing that was bad about the night.
If you want to enjoy a delicious 12 oz sirloin cooked to perfection and to your perfect taste don't go anywhere else. Here at Black Rock you cook your own steaks on a volcanic rock. I love it because the portions are wonderful and the flavor is excellent. This restaurant is very expensive and we only come here to celebrate birthdays. We went there to enjoy a great meal with my son and family as we were celebrating his birthday. My steak was to die for. My daughter grabbed another and my mom got the chicken Cesar salad . The Korean barbecue ribs were not a hit with my family. Nobody really liked it. The mozzarella moons were so cheesy and delicious . My baked potato was just right. The meal was perfect but the service was also very good. Our waitress was excited and very efficient and professional. I am glad we got her. My husband left her a very good tip as our group was larger than 6 people. Come enjoy a wonderful real steak at Black Rock and cook it to your perfection. Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of seating areas for wheelchairs.
Oh so awesome. How cool is it to have the opinion of cooking your own meat selection to your liking, with a 'Black Rock', stone. Seasoned to perfection, bartenders great service, atmosphere classy yet down to earth. Dessert crazy good.
Food was excellent, I got the cheapest sirloin steak and it tasted like the expensive ones. One of the best steaks I've had. Even the green beans were really good. Steak was super easy to cook on the hot stone. Service wasn't terrible, we had a party of 7 and they were able to hold a table for us. It was crowded with slight understaff which seems to be the way every resteraunt is nowadays. There isn't any sound dampening, and there are tall ceilings, so it echoes and is very loud. Inside Feels like a cheap Cafe, but how the prices are and how the food comes out feels like it should be a nicer atmosphere like an outback or olive garden. Atmosphere and theme don't go together at all.
