Visited here a couple weeks ago for my father-in-law’s birthday. We had a late lunch and it was not busy at all. For appetizers we got the pickle fries and Reuben balls. There were a lot of pickle fries. Menu says it is served with ranch but the sauce was not a regular ranch. It may have been a buffalo ranch or other spicy ranch. The pickle fries were good and we would definitely get them again but we would ask that it be served with regular ranch. The Reuben balls were nothing special and we would not order again. The entrees took awhile to come out then everyone’s was brought out except my Hühnerschnitzel which took at least another 5 minutes if not longer to get. The portion sizes are large. It is hard to cut up meat when it is piled on top of other food so it would have been nice to have it plated separately. A couple of us did ask for another plate. Spätzle is my favorite side dish to get at German restaurants. Sadly I thought it was a bit lacking in flavor and it had very dry and very chewy pieces mixed in. The potatoes were very good. The grilled chicken sandwich would have been better if served on a different sized bun. My daughter had to cut the chicken in half and stack it in order to eat it as a sandwich. I only ate the smaller piece of my hühnerschitzel and took the larger piece home. It was very crispy but was a bit dry and chewy around the edges. I thought the gravy was on the salty side. I have been watching my sodium intake so that could be a contributing factor as to why it was salty to me. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. My sister-in-law got the red cabbage as a side dish. She never had red cabbage before so she has nothing to compare it to but she did not like it. She took half her jägerschnitzel for leftovers because the piece was huge. Four out of six of us had leftovers. I would definitely come again. One suggestion for the website: change it so the menu is easier to read. When trying to read the first page, it only stays for a few seconds then moves to the second page and then the second page stays for a few seconds and then goes to a blank screen. It makes it hard to read. I want to be able to swipe to the next page when I’m ready.

The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in Bavaria. We both had wiener schnitzel with a variety of side dishes, which were all delicious. The portions were large, and something that seems rare these days, the prices were under $20 for superior entrees. Then, despite being full, we couldn't resist the Black Forest Cake, which was enough for four. It was under $5 and may have been the best dessert we ever had.
