Best BBQ in Clermont, and very friendly staff.

Omg this place is awesome! I had the Bbquban and it was the best Cuban I've ever had. Other family members had the brisket and the Big Sexy sandwich and it was all excellent. Staff was wonderful! We'll definitely be back!

Been twice haven't had anything bad yet. Kid-friendliness: Pretty good chicken nuggets for picky kids. Not heavy on the breading

First of all the service was great , but the food I had lacked flavor and was over cooked, I had the chicken, brisket and sausage and collards as a side and also got the Mac and cheese bowl with pulled pork! Mac and cheese was a disaster, I can make better from a box ! Definitely will not go back ! Whole meal was $ 45 which is fine , but was hoping for great bbq !

So I have dined here four times now. The first three times the food was pretty good. Not out of this world, but good enough to be a repeat customer. Plus, we love supporting small business. Over a week ago now, we placed a pickup order online, which is not something that we had done before as we normally order in person. I went in to pick up the order, it was ready promptly and I took it back home to serve for dinner. There were multiple items, which we had ordered before, look and taste completely different than it did previously. The chicken wings had no sauce on them. Completely naked. And yes, they came with sauce every other time we ordered them. The fried green tomato blt is usually toasted, but this time it came on limp, untoasted white bread. Additionally, there was 100% a kraft single slapped on there, not melted whatsoever. Finally, the greens had ZERO flavor. Tbh, the flavor was always a little "different" than I would typically expect from properly cooked greens, but this time there was no flavor to be found. This was an incredibly disappointing meal. I emailed the store (replying back from my order confirmation, which was a valid email, and not a "no reply" address) to ask about this order and to let them know about the issues we had. All I was trying to do was make sure the appropriate people/person could be made aware that their product was not up to their usual standards, and perhaps they needed to retrain some staff. I received no reply or acknowledgement. With so many chain restaurants in the area, we strive to support the mom & pop eateries, and Black Bear has so much potential. Hopefully this was just a one off issue.

What a great dining experience my family and I had at Black Bear Kitchen. Best BBQ in Clermont! I had the big sexy sandwich (the brisket was amazing) with the sweet cornbread. My husband had the BBQuban which was excellent too. But wait there’s more. The barbecue sauces were so delicious we had to purchase! I especially loved the Florida Citrus sauce and we decided that was our FL souvenir to take back home. Thank you Black Bear for the delicious food and extra friendly service.
