I love this place for the most part, 95% of the time everything is smooth and the people rock. However, I recently got the credit card and the manager told me it would be a soft check but it was a hard check AND I'd get 15% back in points on my tv purchase (some Super Bowl special). I got the card, hyped on it, and you're goofy for lying to me.
I went to the appointment for changing the tires at BJ Manchester NH at 4:30pm. I was told it would take about 1.5 hours to change the 4 tires, both when I was booking the appointment 3 weeks ago and when I arrived at the appointment today. However, my car was not ready until 7 pm, which was an hour later than the scheduled time. I checked out my groceries around 6pm to make sure I could pick up my car on time. However, my frozen groceries ended up waiting in the shopping cart for an hour. Not to mention, I took my two small kids with me to BJ. To avoid my frozen groceries melting, I had to take my two kids and the groceries waiting outside in the cold wind for about 20 minutes before I got my car key back. The staff kept telling me that my car would be ready in 2 minutes since 6pm. But, it was an hour later, which is very far from 2 minutes. I'd appreciate it if the staff were honest with me when I book the appointment that changing tiles can take up to 3 hours. So, I could have planned accordingly, for example, not bringing my kids with me, and not buying frozen or refrigerated food. The staff at the tire center said she told me it 'd be 2 hours, which I swear I never heard her say that. Because, why would I check out my frozen groceries half an hour earlier to let them melt? At the end, as I already stood next to my car with my 2 kids and the groceries, I requested the staff to bring my car key and documents needed to be signed to my car. Because it is a long walk from the parking lot across the tire center to the tire office inside BJ, particularly with 2 small kids. The tire center manager only brought my car key to my car so I could load my groceries. However, she insisted I bring my two small kids with me back to the Tire office inside BJ to sign the documents. Because she claimed the documents were on the computer, she couldn't bring them to me. However, when I took a long walk with the kids back to the tire center office, she handed a piece of paper to me and asked me to sign it. There were no documents on the computer for me to sign. Why did the manager lie to me? Is it funny for 2 small kids walking in the cold wind back and forth after they already waited for 2.5 hours? I was completely shocked to see that BJ staff can lie blatantly to customers, with no any consideration and respect for customers. It is so far the worst customer service I have received in my life.
