Bjorn bar is one the last bakeries that hold true to classic standards and ingredients. If you know baking standards and ingredients you would know that baking with BUTTER creates the best product. Unfortunately, many have become accustomed to lard in products such as croissants. Soft and doughy. Butter produces crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. THIS is the marking of a true, traditional, French and perfect product. Also, one is not sent out of a café or bakery once your coffee is finished. You are welcome to stay and enjoy your time in the establishment. Bjorn Bar sets their standards high and I feel that every time I enter, savor and enjoy my coffee, pastry, meal and time there. Thank you to the staff, management, and owner for being a wonderful establishment.

I first came to this location a week after the opening and continue to come back. I personally don't drink coffee, but I do get tea which is really good. My friends and family can vouch for the coffee so I will just put that out there. Service has always been great even when it gets busy. The only complaint I could have is that it can get really busy, but honestly that just means that I'm at a place that people love. Will continue to come back.

We have been coming here off and on since it opened. At the beginning the coffee was hot and the pastries were not over baked. Not sure if they have a different pastry chef or that maybe their eyesight is lacking but every time we are in over the past year EVERY bakery item is over baked. Some might say burnt but the items are not black, they are a very dark shade of brown but with certain doughs this could be considered burnt. We used to drool over the apple fritters but these days they are so over baked and covered in sugar they don't even look tempting. Today we went in and only ordered coffee which would have been fantastic if it had been more than luke warm. Our mistake for not asking for hot or extra hot! But every pastry was so over baked the entire case just looked like the chef left the building when the pastry timer went off! The only thing that wasn't over baked was the turnovers, which we have had before and they are our least favourite thing on the menu. For the prices of this place it really is shocking to see over baked pastries day in and day out, especially with all the croissant dough items. They load all of them with chocolate, sugar or icing sugar to hide how over baked everything is. Very unappealing to say the least. We did not order pastries and will not order them in the future if they keep this over baked trend going. Event the coconut macaroons were a dark shade of golden brown. Not sure why they think this is ok- perhaps they should go visit another bakery and see the proper way to bake things. Sadly, I didn't have my phone with me to take photo evidence but we are not the only ones who notice this! Figure yourselves out Bjorn Bakery!

Nice comforting place with a good assortment of interesting bakery items ad well as classics. Only Sat at a wobbly table once by the window and spilt my tea. Also was told food would be brought to table by one cashier, it wasn't. Otherwise very comfortable. Can get busy though.

The ambience and the food here is great! The coffee and hot chocolate was just amazing! The croissant and the grill sandwich was out perfect! Overall, had a great experience
