Bistro L'Autre Oeil

My wife returned fish and chips because the fish was tough and very fishy tasting. The waiter took her meal back to the kitchen but never asked or offered anything else. Then when we asked for the bill everything was full price. We explained that we didn't want to pay for the fish. The waitress this time went and spoke to the manager. The manager never came to discuss our concern and issue with the food. They discounted the meal by 15%. We paid our bill without any further complaining, but left feeling ignored and that it was handled very poorly. A manager should always address a complaint and apologize and offer something more than just a discount. A meal not enjoyed at 22.00 and sent back is worth more than a 3 dollar discount. We're easy people to please and friendly. We go there atleast twice a month and usually spend more than 80.00 each time. Now we most likely won't return due to poor management.

Gorgeous hidden gem in lovely downtown Aylmer. Over a hundred beers, fab service and atmosphere. A must visit over and over. Already looking forward to my return.

Mine & my partners favourite bar in Aylmer. We love the wings and poutine, amazing beer list, service is always great. I forgot my purse along with my work float & cash, received it the next day, not a penny missing. That speaks to the honesty and integrity of the staff. Good beers, big variety. Food is a little expensive for what it is, but it is good. Nice place to go with friends to have a good time!

A fantastic selection of beer. Service is very good and I enjoyed my lunch here. I'll be back!
