We offer a casual and comfortable Dining and Lodging experience in a picturesque small NH town, but within easy driving distance of natural and all manner of shopping attractions. Our Inn dates back to 1775, and has had famous visitors including Henry David Thoreau, and we have a dining room with hand painted wall murals by Rufus Porter, a true "Renaissance man" who is said to have painted the murals in the 1830's. Our three suites for Lodging are all comfortable with oversized towels, a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, and an electric kettle. Our recently renovated tavern and kitchen allow us to offer an varied menu with something for everyone!
