Big Chile real mexican tacos & tex-mex

Fast service and food was served hot. Parking lot available in the front of the restaurant. Ordered the shrimp cassadillas, it was delicious. My favorite Mexican restaurant in this area. Eat in or to go. Pay at register when placing your order.

It was great, the burrito is one of the bigger I’ve ever seen though the chicken isn’t the highest quality and the tacos are great. They had juice and pop as well as a sauce area, they even had something plying on the tv for kids.

They kindly opened up 10 minutes before they typically opened on a Saturday. Definitely a great alternative to the other typical fast food Mexican restaurants. What a great way to break an 18 hour fast. Got the burrito bowl, and it was on point. Fair warning their spicy salsa is actually spicy and I loved every minute of it. No I wasn’t crying, my eyes were just sweating a little 😂, Just a tittle. I would recommend you ask they go Light on the lettuce 🥬 . I did forget to ask them to not put any on, my error. I will be coming back. Lexington common has a fair amount of great restaurants in such a compact shopping center.

Carne asada fries are so good!! Love the green "salsa", chips, queso...yummy! Son loved the kids chicken strips. Workers are really nice, too!

I’ve been eating Big Chile since I was house hunting in RVA 3 years ago when they were a food truck still. I was so sad when the truck left but so happy when I realized they’d opened up not just one but two permanent locations!! Delicious food, big portions, AND A SALSA AND PICKLED JALEPENOS BAR! everything i could ever want.

Sooooo delicious. Bursting with flavor. I cannot rave enough about this place. Will make the hour drive just to eat here anytime I’m craving tacos! Extremely pleased with my visit!

If you’re looking for authentic California street tacos this is not the place. It’s huge chunks of meat, no sear marks and not seasoned that well. I haven’t tried anything else here but if you’re looking for authentic carne asada tacos go to a spot on midlothian.
