Bethesda Bagels

Not a sit down place but the breakfast is good. NY style rainbow bagels.

Comparing to Bageltowne Deli down the street, I think Bethesda Bagels has a larger and more exciting selection of bagel varieties. I think Bethesda Bagels has better texture and taste as well. However, I've had breakfast sandwiches from both and I think Bageltowne gives you a bigger portion at the same price point.

*** update - Damn! I'm speechless about (and busy chewing) the amazing sandwich from Bethesda Bagels. The tuna salad sandwich which I would have called a tuna melt was both in quality and quantity extraordinary, literally, that no other sandwich in my recent experience could possibly measure up to the flavor or size of this bagel sandwich. Unwrapping my late lunch the bagel when viewed down it's sliced face was nothing less than gorgeous. A golden egg bagel with layers of tuna salad, verdant green lettuce and brilliant red tomato. Crunchy pickles and fresh sprouts. Delicious. As I said, Damn! *** *** update - the pizza bagels are a hidden gem, so good and great price! *** Came in for breakfast and to take lunch for work. Got my coffee but hadn't drank it yet so was groggy when ordering. The guy at the counter was awesome, he caught a bad mistake I almost made with the sandwich and saved my lunch! Hooray to staff who boldly protect delicious sandwiches! Thank you!

The everything bagel I had this morning was super fresh and the lox spread cream cheese was perfect! Also got a chocolate chip bagel for the wifey! Can’t wait to go back. Definitely recommend and love the motto ‘still handmade’ ‘Update from 10 months ago Today I tried the egg everything with sausage egg and cheese and it was INCREDIBLE!!! Can’t wait to be back again
