Best Western Plus Birmingham NEC Manor Hotel Meriden

Didnt stay. I went to a course. The building is beautiful but in areas looked a bit tatty. The food was lovely.

Lovely Hotel, nice location and really nice breakfast. Vars are nice and function rooms are a good size and staff are good. Stayed one night and rooms are soooo hot. I never realised a room could get so hot with no heating on in there. Be warned. Hotel does not have any AC. Rooms: Nice size, a little dated but clean, tidy but very hot. Unbearable in summer. Walkability: Can walk to local pubs, chip shop or shop

The most awfully uncomfortable bed and pillows; I’m not fussy but this is easily the worst bed and pillows of any hotel I’ve used for as long as I can remember. No phone signal in the room and WiFi that drops out all the time. Smelly drains, weirdly located light switches that you can never find. Awful shower that barely worked (turn the temperature knob and the water shuts off completely) or scalds you. The food in the resteraunt was pretty good though.

Amezing wedding venue. And famous Marco pier white steak and grill house Rooms: Morden Food & drinks: Amezing food and great cocktails.

The hotel is generally nice, the rooms were clean and well presented. The WiFi is pretty bad unfortunately. I was hoping to do some work in my room, but the connection kept dropping out and I didn't have mobile signal either which meant I couldn't hotspot. Breakfast was nice, there was a good selection and hotel staff were great when they were around. It's close to the NEC which is why I stayed, but there's not very many amenities nearby.
