Muy desconforme con un camarero de nombre Joe, calvo con gafas y tatuajes!! Nos ha tratado muy mal, estábamos consumiendo y de mala manera nos ha dicho de irnos. Muy mal educado pésima experiencia no recomiendo!!!
Here’s a 1 star rating with all the details (and whatever good points that Belushi does offer):
Belushi’s is a chain sports bar next door to a hostel, and management seems to be lacking or improperly pushed onto mediocre bartenders with terrible attitudes. Love sports bars, like hostels, don’t recommend this place.
Don’t go here to watch sports (unless you like the exact random soccer teams that these “bartenders” like). DEFINITELY don’t go here if you’re an F1 fan.
The good: The reservation emails are relatively quick and easy. The front door security was incredibly nice, as was the one British bartender. It’s mostly clean. The nachos were good.
The location: Two spaces. One front room with booths, the bar, and a few small tables. One back room with two large screens often playing the “major match” and high top tables.
There is no table service, everything has to be ordered with the bartenders.
The “major match” in the back room has terrible speakers. And the front room speakers are great, but are used for whatever the bartenders want to listen to.
Weeks before, we reserved a table specifically for F1, and the day before we asked if it was possible to be seated in a booth in the front room for F1. They said no problem and they were happy to have us.
When we got there, the building was at least 90% F1 fans. Most were in the back room and we were in the front room (but still mostly F1 fans).
All was great for the first 12 minutes of the race, until they decided to play random rock music- Korn- instead of the F1 race “to get ready for soccer”.
There were 5 people in the front room (maybe, at most) wanting to watch soccer (but really only the bartenders)- then they turned all the speakers in the front room to this very boring and very small soccer match (the day before was Man U and man city which we would have understood… but this was not that... for example, when a goal was scored- which we heard on the speakers- not one person made a noise?).
Several people asked to switch the sound back to Formula 1. Bartenders said “absolutely no”. They specifically told us that we asked for a table in the front room and it’s our fault (despite this not even being mentioned in the reservation correspondence).
During half time of soccer- we (and several other tables) politely asked that maybe just for these few minutes they put on F1…
THEY AGAIN PUT ON KORN… AND SHERYL CROW (and I, too, am very confused).
The bartenders were so rude it was almost funny. This is the first time in my life I haven’t tipped!
We would have loved to have spent more money here (and actually enjoyed watching Formula One) but decided to stop drinking at Sheryl Crow.
