Amazing generous food cooked from scratch. Wish I’d had a capacity to eat more at breakfast as there was so much nice stuff. Lovely thick yoghurt and nice to see fish options at breakfast. The best decaffeinated coffee I’ve had for a while (better than the caffeinated I tried at breakfast! But I do like it black). Lots of care and attention. Lovely decor, comfy seats and a wonderfully central location within walking distance of everything we needed. Car park nicer than I expected too with welcoming bunting :) Nearby activities: Market square, church, civil war centre, castle and riverside all within close walking distance and accessible on pedestrianised or otherwise pedestrian friendly streets. So many scenic buildings. View of castle from river is a must!

A very pleasant overnight stay for 2 couples at the Inn. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Bar is very handy. Good parking is just behind the hotel so no need for us to experience another run-in with the big commercial car park close by! Good central location in this very interesting and attractive town. Food & drinks: Excellent food. Interesting, local, generous and well prepared.

Very clean & pleasant in located handily for the town centre in Newark. Lots of parking and very good value for money. Breakfast very good indeed!

Lovely place to stay, Breakfast was extra and well worth it, perfect location. had secure parking, when booking do it with them direct as it works out a bit cheaper Rooms: Beautiful and simple Safety: secure parking Walkability: perfect location in the town centre, Food & drinks: We paid extra for breakfast which I did think was expensive at £27 for two breakfast but it was fantastic quality and i have to admit worth every penny

Perfect stay. The room was large and comfortable. Very reasonably priced. Good car parking. Really friendly staff. Will be staying again, next time we are working in the area
