I ran into this place by accident but was pleasantly surprised when I found out it was a Chicago based restaurant. I had the Linguini & Clams which was excellent. I will be back for steaks.

This steakhouse is outstanding, I don't eat steak that often, but when I crave a good steak, boom, Beau & Mo's delivers every.single.time... the charred crust...oh.mah.gah..you do not even realize! The amazing dinner for 2 meal...come on...they are killing date night, like they wrote the book on how to woo yo lady and then said wait let's add options, amazing bread, a to die for salad, and yes my friends...desert...!! Ask for Nick...hands down best. Server. Ever.!

This is supposed to be fine dining. A place where I expect simple food to be made well, not the level of carelessness expected at Denny's or Metro Diner. For $130 a meal for 2 just for the food. It was insulting. Atmosphere: It was colder inside than it was outside. The music is so loud we could barely hear each other. Food: I read the complaints about the burnt taste because of how the steak is cooked by charring. It was an unpleasant burnt steak taste. I don't have an issue with that because I half expected that I wouldn't like it but others don't mind. The main issue is the rest of the food. Plain looking iceberg lettuce salad with standard dressing options. Green beans. The green beans were half yellow because how overcooked they were. I guess they were cooked for the elderly so they have no trouble chewing. Mashed potatoes. The top of the mashed potatoes was very dried suggesting that the side dishes were plated up ahead of time and sat in/under something to keep warm instead of being plated as orders came in. There was a bitter aftertaste suggesting the potatoes weren't washed properly. The shrimp were cheap and cheaply prepared. All side dishes were in metal dishes. The worst offense is the cold plates. Remember the room was also very cold. Maybe the restaurant wants diners to eat quickly before the food gets cold and to out MUCH sooner than the limited 90 min that they impose on tables of 2. The only salvaging thing was the freshly baked bread.

The chateaubriand for two was excellent. The tomahawk ribeye was good. The calamari and bruschetta was average. The chicken piccata sauce was very heavy and thick (might be a personal taste thing there) and the accompanying linguini was a small portion and mushy (not al dente). The salads were wilted iceberg lettuce and not very exciting at all for a high-end steakhouse. Bread is not complimentary - you must purchase it - which was just plain weird. We waited a long time in between courses. Make sure you adhere to the published seating time limits on the website for your party size. 4 people is 1.5 hours and 6 people is 2 hours. We had 5 people and were asked nicely to leave the table after 2 hours and 10 minutes (which was 5 minutes after we paid and my son came back from the rest room). I guess 5 people falls under the 4 person rule. :) It was loud in the restaurant which I don't necessarily mind depending on the occasion, but people should know. I think the place has potential if they address some of the details mentioned above. Vegetarian options: My carnivore son's birthday so he got to pick the restaurant, but my daughter-in-law is vegetarian. Not many vegetarian options, but it is a steakhouse. My daughter-in-law got the ravioli. Parking: Tight parking lot, but we found a space. They have overflow parking next door. Wheelchair accessibility: Two small low steps up with no ramp to get in. I helped an elderly lady who arrived at the same time as us and was having a challenge with the steps.

Not a Chicago style steak house, shrimp were not authentic. Salads very tiny, 6 dollars for half a loaf of bread, steaks were good, drinks were good. Ordered a big lobster tail came out an hour after we finished our steaks smelled very fishy, sent it back the old very rude hostess said we had to pay or she would call the police on us, ridiculous and extremely rude, waiter was awful, they treat customers horribly, dark n dank inside and very loud.Do not waste your money here.Council oaks or 1200 chop in st Pete beach, much better food and they treat you wonderfully!!! Will never be back!!!! Parking: Very limited
