Second time eating here and the food is consistently five stars. We had the chili, meatballs, little gem salad and roasted root vegetables. Little gem salad paired perfectly with the Vermentino. Completed the meal with the Bananas Foster and highly recommend saving room for this dessert! Rated the service 4 star as we felt rushed with our 9PM reservation and by 9:40 felt like the dynamics had shifted to making sure everyone was done and out by 10:00. Better to have a reservation earlier in the evening or just sit at the bar. Our server was quite attentive with a friendly demeanor.

Everything I've eaten here is so good! From the beet salad, to the ricotta and honey pizza, to the ice cream cookie skillet, it is all good! Great atmosphere, service is outstanding and quick!

Bear & the Wren in San Luis Obispo was a pleasant surprise. The pizza with hot honey was quite enjoyable, offering a unique flavor combination. Our server knew their way around the wine list, providing helpful recommendations. The management was friendly, contributing to a relaxed dining atmosphere. Overall, a solid choice for a casual night out with decent food and service.

We had an amazing dine-in experience (no reservation). It was our first time there, and the service was incredible. The servers gave us so much help with our 2 toddlers and were so accommodating and attentive. They have really nice indoor/outdoor atmosphere. The food was incredible and left us wanting to go back to try everything else on the menu.

This place had a two hour wait on a Saturday night so we got two Detroit pizzas to go. The pizza hit the spot. My favorite was the one with ricotta and honey.

5 stars for everything. The food was absolutely phenomenal, as was the service. We ordered the Mushroom pie on Detroit as well as the Butternut on Neapolitan, and both were 10/10 - this after getting the meatball app with flatbread. Honestly could've done without the extra flatbread, but man was it good. We were stuffed... but had to get the cast iron cookie which was out of this world. Frankly, this is easily the best pizza in SLO - but unquestionably some of the best pizza we've ever head. Ambience was great, as well as the service -- Will was the man!
