BD's Mongolian Grill

went here two days in a row and food was perfect per usual with the most amazing staff!! so friendly and welcoming:) would recommend this to anyone and everyone as it’s a great atmosphere and very attentive staff. they even gave me and my boyfriend a free desert after seeing we came back today which was so generous and kind of them! wasn’t even expecting it and i was already very full but couldn’t say no!! i love that you get to choose how much food you want and for an amazing price! fantastic cooks and staff, they all were glowing with radiant smiles and i would gladly come here for the third day in a row!! come check this location out!!

Had great service and dinner tonight. Wish there was still a BD's in Grand Rapids. Would definitely recommend.

Good amount of food for a good price. Love the guys on the grill. Vegetarian options: You can simply skip the meat portion

It was a fun night celebrity chefs. Good food. Great company, excellent service.

Guessing the place is losing money because they are creating new rules to prevent people from taking too much food. The new rules are not posted as you would expect. The new rules alone are not the issue... i get a company having to protect margins. The employees feel too confident treating their customers very rudely and making personal insults without reason. I do not blame the employees. When one employee is rude this is a rotten employee but if several then its a sign the manager is creating a hostile working enviroment and reflection of the focus of their training. The manager needs to go. The food isnt bad. They been cutting corners. It used to be better. The drinks are mid at best. Very little drink options and they are not trained to mix well. All that is not the issue... The service overall is probably the worst in the city except the cooks, they deserve a better job. A manager curating this kind of enviroment will not only cost a lot of money from loss of customers but also bring about problems that were not needed.

Low quality meats, high prices, and now charging for to go containers. Wait staff is hit and miss, love the Veterans but some of the newer ones just want to piss you off. Spending $80 on two adults and an Eleven year old for a lunch, without appetizers or drinks is just not worth visiting anymore. . I wish you the best, but you’ve lost my business.

We come here because my kids really like it. But today even my son was very unhappy. They had no food. No steak, calamari, scallops, salmon, nothing. They had less then half the sauces out. We ordered an appetizer and it literally took 30 minutes. Not to mention a table that was seated after us was waited on first. The server was horrible. People were literally walking out in the middle of their meals due to how the manager was handling things. We tried to speak with him, but last I saw he ran into the back with his face red. No one apologized to us. They didn't comp our bill. Or offer a free dessert. I had planned on a getting a bowl to go. But I want allowed to because they then closed the restaurant WHILE we were making our bowls. And didn't let us know. Some of the employees like the cooks are really awesome! And make the experience fun. But it isn't worth the price for what was offered. And the service we received and the food selection that was available to us. Not to mention the fruit flies or gnats that were flying all over. We probably won't be visiting this location again. We are really disappointed.
