Highly recommend to get the tequila cocktail with the hummus in it. Very unique and delicious take on the classic margarita! Food was good, service was better. Thanks to our server for great recommendations on food.
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the poor management and biased behavior my party experienced during our visit to Bayroute Restaurant in Juhu on April 20th. This incident has left a sour taste in our mouths and tarnished what should have been a special occasion. Despite making a reservation for a table for four well in advance and arriving promptly at 8:00 PM as requested, our experience was marred from the outset. Firstly, there was no prior notification about the road construction in the vicinity, which made accessing the restaurant incredibly challenging. Upon our arrival, we were directed to bar stools and long chairs instead of being seated at a regular table, despite observing an empty table for four nearby. When I brought this to the attention of the hostess, she callously informed me that the table was reserved for a group which was already seated and they would like to invite more additional guests, implying that their guests may or may not come and our reservation was somehow less significant. Despite my insistence that we also had a reservation for four, the hostess provided no satisfactory response or resolution. This blatant favoritism and disregard for our reservation not only ruined what should have been a perfect birthday celebration for my wife but also reflects poorly on the professionalism and integrity of your establishment. I feel compelled to caution others against patronizing Bayroute Restaurant, as it is evident that the management lacks the necessary skills and understanding to operate a fine dining establishment. I implore you to address these issues promptly and implement measures to ensure that all patrons are treated with fairness and respect in the future. Mehul Vora
Nestled in the small bylanes opp Juhu Post Office and close to Novotel Juhu, the Bayroute restaurant cannot be missed. The exteriors are very contemporary however the interiors is propped with mid-eastern artware, look-n-feel. We went there for an occasion dinner and since we were not familiar with the wide cuisine our steward suggested a few dishes that would suit our taste pallete. For appetizers we opted for 'Humus Bayroute with Pita', juicy 'Kabab Joojeh' & 'Harissa Chicken Kabab'. For main course we went with the delicious 'Moroccan Lemon olive Chicken' which is a combo of chicken, veggies and rice and the all-time favourite 'Lebanese Shawarma'. One main dish would would serve 2 average eaters. For drinks we opted for mocktails - 'Aleppo Chilli Guava' and 'Thai Meets Middle East' with the latter not upto my liking. Its a combination of kaffir lime and coconut water which I personally did not like much. Overall, the experience was very good including ambience and and since the restaurant was at 50% capacity when we visited, the food was served within 15-20mins time. Would definitely look at visiting the other Bayroute outlets as well in the near future. Parking: Valet Parking available Wheelchair accessibility: Need to take a small flight of stairs
