Bayou Delight Restaurant

My wife and my daughter and myself stopped her for a late birthday lunch for me. I ordered the catfish and white beans AND a 4 piece chicken with fries! My wife had a three piece chicken and my daughter got the seafood platter. Everything was excellent, the service was top notch and the food was fresh. Our server was super friendly and very patient. I attempted to eat all my food while there but I had to tap out. When I said out loud I couldn't eat another bite she said "I guess so with two plates of food!" This place is off the beaten path but it is well worth the trip. Don't forget to try the bread pudding!

An authentic family-oriented Cajun restaurant right on the Bayou Black. Down home cooking. You will not be disappointed by any item ordered. Everything is delicious. Great owner cook. Make sure and check out the residents located in the bayou behind the restaurant. Softshell turtles, alligators, gar, and various other marine life can be seen daily. On Friday and Saturday nights, various local artists perform live music . They move the tables and make a little dance floor. Great family entertainment and great food! And you just might meet some new friends! Definitely visit if you are from out of town or bring your friends from out of town. Better yet, just bring all your family and friends and pass a good time. Or as we say on the bayou, laissez le bon temps rouler.
