48 bucks got me 6 big a$$ pork ribs, fish and chips, potato salad and coleslaw... Major smoked bbq flavor... All food was great... Up front parking...
A long time resident of Concord. Always loved Barney's. Moved away 27 years ago. And I will always love Barney's Hickory Pit. Do you deliver to Washington state. Lol
This place has been serving delicious bbq for decades! Very generous portions! I like their mac and cheese and loaded baked potato.
I went here as a kid alot because my dad worked there in highschool and knew some of the people still working there. After the old owner sold we where glad to knew that the food is still the same.
I wish I had known of the place sooner!! It's not crowded, service is great and the food is incredible!!! It's a small looking place, but huge on flavor and servings are always too big for my belly!!
First time there. The ribs were perfect. Fell off the bone. I liked the red sauce better than the brown sauce.
Parking: A few spots near the en try
Our family has been coming here since it opened. My grandfather would take each of us cousins for breakfast. My dad would come and pickup ribs for dinner. I totally understand that the original owners sold to another. After my grandfather passed away, my Uncle took up the baton and would bring us cousins here! The service we experienced today was so poor. The waitress had a very lofty attitude. She completely ignored us and served everyone else. She spoke down to us and was so incredibly unprofessional. We saw our food was ready and it sat there forever waiting to be brought to our table. The cook had to do her job for her. Please note, it was NOT at all a busy time.
First time after covid. They are still the same in good way. Local and family own. Not like big chain restaurants.
I've been going to this place since I was a kid and I haven't been back in a while. This is probably my last time I'll ever go. The ribs which I've been ordering since I was a kid 50 years now we're dry and the sauce was different. I'm bummed. Barney's used to be my favorite place. Spending $100 for three people is not something I'll ever do again.
