Cool spot! Wouldn’t say 5 stars, unfortunately the tasting menu is absolutely tiny. We went with a group of 8, and every one of us left wanting at least twice as much food. We were honestly starving after, so we went and got more snacks somewhere else. It’s 5 courses for $70, and one of the courses is dessert. I was pretty disappointed with it. The salad was tiny, maybe a serving for a kid? And it wasn’t my favorite either, just bitter and lots of grapefruit. The meat and salmon were all fantastic, but no joke the salmon portion was probably about 1.5oz worth of fish. I’d recommend a visit, just don’t get the tasting menu. It’ll leave you unhappy and not full. I’d say the tasting menu is worth $35-$40 total, or double portion sizes and charge $60.
Charming atmosphere, featuring a good selection of craft cocktails and a curated array of wines and champagnes, complemented by delicious bites and attentive, knowledgeable staff. It's one of my favorite places in town!
This used to be the best restaurant in Eugene. I went tonight and was utterly disappointed. I brought friends for their birthday dinner, and I feel embarrassed to have hyped this place up so much. Dishes that used to be generous and inspired were absolutely lacking. The adequately prepared scallops swam in a gloopy, over-salted “mushroom” Risotto that had exactly one mushroom. The “schnitzel” was a pounded piece of fried chicken that lacked flavor topped with a tartar sauce and no side. Most insultingly the “steak and frites” was about 2 oz of shredded steak atop 4 lbs of French fries. The most flavorful part of the meal was the aioli. The wait staff was excellent, but the food was an utter disappointment. This went from being one of my all time favorite restaurants in the US to a place I will never visit again in one night. $250 for sub par food doesn’t cut it. I recommend you avoid this restaurant.
Love this place so much but we had the WORST experience this time. We were obviously not wanted here. They ignored us to the maximum. We always tip well and aren’t rowdy so idk
Cozy intimate atmosphere, friendly staff, fresh good food. Really enjoyable experience, we were able to have a relaxed evening of good food drinks.
Food and service was excellent. Intimate environment with an open kitchen/bar area. The photo is the ling cod, the best dish of the night.
Incredible dining experience overall, from the top notch service to a wonderful wine and cocktail menu, and of course the dishes perfectly executed in a chic comfortable space what more could you ask for. Plenty to choose from on the French inspired menu including an wonderful selection of fresh local seafood, beef, poultry and produce. Great place to have a cocktail and apps at the bar or a romantic dinner in a booth. My personal opinion this is the best all around restaurant in Eugene and Springfield hands down.
