Bar Lupulus

This place hands down has it's spot in the top 5 restaurants in Ottawa. Great top end beer? No problem, they have 18 on tap at all times. Natural wines from straight to funky? No problem, they got it all. Detail oriented plates at a very fair price, amazing staff, always very accommodating. If you're feeling like something you can't find on the menu or on the card, just ask! Their menu changes quite often even if the item on the menu keeps the same name, they just modify some of the ingredients and how they prepare them. 10/10 will always go back.

Most recently went for a new years eve dinner. Had a good time. The service was good even though the place was packed. They were turning away many guests that didn't have reservations. Would recommend having a reservation for any weekend night. The food is also good but didn't shine like we had hoped. The drinks were excellent and the wait staff were good at recommendations. We enjoyed the experience but aren't in a rush to go back.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Bar Lupulus. It's one the few restaurants we have experienced which provides outstanding service coupled with outstanding food. It's truly outstanding!!!!

Have been wanting to try this place out for a while now, and we were not disappointed. The lists of cocktails and dishes are very creative, and the options we chose were delicious. Certainly discovered new combinations of flavors. Plus we got a very enthusiastic and helpful waiter/barman ... thank you for the recommendations on wine and the spumante.

This is one of my favorite spots, I just love going there. Try to have Graham's service!! He's just amazing, so funky and has such a thorough knowledge of his wine menu. The menu is often changing but always surprises me, I keep going back, give them a try! (Sharing plates is the best thing to do here)

I've been to Bar Lupulus a few times now and consistently enjoyed it! Always a great beer selection and the food is excellent. The space can be a bit noisy when it gets really full, but the atmosphere overall is quite nice. It's quite fun to sit at the bar table near the back, to watch the chefs prepare and garnish the dishes to go out for service.

Trendy, noisy but many varied dishes, catering to all tastes. The appetizers were probably the best part of the dinner.

The best place to go for cocktails, wine snacks and dinner! We always love how unique and flavourful the menu options are. The tuna and salmon crudo were outstanding, buccatini and squash mains hit the spot. Can't wait to visit again!
