Opened in May 2021, bar avec is nine-time James Beard-award winning group One Off Hospitality’s rooftop interpretation of the laid-back outdoor cervecerias signature to the Iberian Coast, coupled with sweeping views of Chicago’s towering skyline. Located on the 8th floor of sister concept avec River North, the inviting open-air retreat captures the light and airy spirit of Spanish and Portuguese shoresides. The leisurely vibe is complemented by simply prepared seasonal vegetables and seafood-forward shared plates by One Off's Executive Chef Paul Kahan and Culinary Director Perry Hendrix. Like the food, bar avec’s cocktails are designed to be enjoyed outdoors, Bar avec is open seasonally from April - October.
