thai tea wasn’t real thai tea, it was just a normal black tea. the bahn mi was mid.
My go-to place for tea and banmi
Delicious and cheap banh mi! I usually get the drunken beef.
Had the tofu vermicelli bowl- tofu was delicious! Their sauces are really tasty and the ingredients tasted fresh. Amazing Viet food. Women owned business as well, so that’s neat. Really good stuff
It’s too expensive for what it is. I ordered a tofu banh mi, and it came with no mayo even though the description mentioned mayo. Many people ordering tofu might be vegan, maybe I should have specifically asked for mayo?
Took time to make the drive to finally try it out. Had the Viet Special and really enjoyed it. Everything seemed to be perfectly balanced. This place is definitely worth a visit to try out. Wish it was closer to me, but will make more trips to try some of the other ones.
This place is one of my favorites. I'm here just about every week! The xa xiu is a real ripper, and the bubble tea is made fresh (not from powder) which keeps me coming back. The staff is especially wonderful, as the owners (Tuyen and Kelly) are basically family to us. Give them all of your money and eat their delicious food! Vegetarian options: A few veggie options, and they are customizable too. Dietary restrictions: Just have to ask, they also have milk alternatives (almond, soy, etc.) If you can't have cows milk. Parking: In the heart of lawrenceville, so mostly paid street parking, although there are plenty of free residential spots during the day if you just need to grab takeout.
The only place that has cold cuts and pate Vietnamese banh mi. Hands down, the best ever.
Very very good food! The staff was friendly and quick to make our food. I can't wait to make it back to Pittsburgh to stop here again!
