Fast and courteous service. Best doughnuts and maple bars in town. Everyone always likes them! Great for work related conferences or as a surprise treat.

Fresh daily, these light and delicious donuts are the best I have ever had. The raised donuts are warm in the mornings, cake donuts in the afternoons. Fast service. The price (like everywhere) has gone up... But it is still my favorite donut place.

A Timeless Treat in the Heart of the City: Banbury Cross Doughnuts Review Upon entering Banbury Cross Doughnuts, you're instantly transported to a bygone era. This doughnut shop, seemingly a staple of the community for ages, offers a nostalgic charm that's becoming increasingly rare in today's fast-paced world. With its vintage ambiance and the aroma of sweet pastries filling the air, it's a place that feels like it's been around for a million years. The Atmosphere The first thing that strikes you about Banbury Cross Doughnuts is its timeless vibe. It's as if the shop has been preserved in a delicious time capsule, offering a slice of history alongside its sweet treats. The decor, service, and overall atmosphere hark back to a simpler time when a doughnut and a cup of coffee were enough to start the day on a high note. The Doughnuts When it comes to the main attraction – the doughnuts themselves – Banbury Cross finds a comfortable middle ground. While these doughnuts might not take the crown for the best ever tasted, they are far from being disappointing. Each bite offers a satisfying sweetness and a texture that's neither too dense nor too airy. The variety is commendable, with classic flavors and a few unique ones thrown into the mix, ensuring there's something for every palate. Overall Experience Banbury Cross Doughnuts serves up more than just baked goods; it offers an experience. It's the kind of place you visit not only for the food but for the feeling it evokes. The doughnuts, while described as average by some, still manage to bring joy and a sense of comfort, which, combined with the shop's nostalgic charm, makes for a pleasant visit. In a world where culinary experiences often chase after the latest trend, Banbury Cross Doughnuts stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of the classics. This shop may not dazzle with innovation or claim the title of "the best doughnuts ever," but it delivers a solid, enjoyable experience that reminds us why sometimes, the middle ground is just where we want to be. Whether you're a doughnut aficionado or just someone who appreciates the charm of old-school eateries, Banbury Cross Doughnuts is worth a visit. It's a reminder that in the world of pastries, as in life, there's beauty in simplicity and a lot to be said for doing the basics well.

The donuts were delicious, but I almost feel they weren't worth being treated the way I did by the workers. I came in yesterday around noon to get a box of donuts for my team at work and the customer service I experienced was honestly terrible. Immediately on walking in, all of the workers turned and just stared at me. No hello, no welcome, and nobody asked how they could help me. I would understand if it was packed, but there were only 2 other people in the shop with me that came in after me. I decided to initiate the start of the conversation and said "Hi! How are you today?" and the gal huffed and said "What do you need?". I told her that I would like a box of a dozen donuts and started telling her what flavors I would like and she was huffing and puffing and acting annoyed that I was picking different flavors. The point of getting a box of assorted donuts is to get an assortment. I had about 4 donuts left to choose and she walked over to the glazed donuts and chose for me that my last 4 donuts were going to be glazed since she was done letting me choose. We walked over to the check out stand and she aggressively took my card out of my hand, tapped it for me, handed my receipt, turned around, and walked away. I stood there for a second not knowing if she was grabbing something else or if she needed a signature from me, and asked "am I okay to leave" and the gal turned around and rudely said "Yes! Bye." like I was stupid for asking/not knowing if I was okay to leave. When you enter a business, first impressions are so important and me being stared down and ignored was not the best impression. I would hope that the customer service improves so I feel like it's worth it to come back. I would love to work with someone to make this situation right for the money I spent on the donuts and gas to get there, just to be treated poorly.
