Very nice amazing the food was slightly dry
A consistently good West Seattle staple. Staff is friendly and pastries are delicious. The line can be long on weekends, but it usually moves fairly quickly. Seating is limited so you may have to take your food to go during busy times. I love the huge mix of sweet and savory options. Bakery Nouveau is a great option for breakfast or lunch.
This is a very special bakery with so many delicious options, it’s almost impossible to choose. We focused on the croissant case and tried the twice baked almond, twice baked chocolate, the onion and mushroom, the junction (like a baked breakfast croissant with egg, cheese, bacon). We also got a quiche Lorraine which was silky interior with a delicate crust. The Junction and quiche were our favorites with the onion mushroom croissant a close runner up. Our only disappointment was their drip coffee. They serve it with ice cold milk which made the coffee lukewarm. :-( Brazilian cafes have thermos filled with hot milk - wish we would have that catch on here. We will definitely return to try some of the cakes, bread and chocolates. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids came in with their parents and knew their way around the bakery case. Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is street level.
Best baguette in Seattle. At least that I've had, anyway. Any day I can swing by Bakery Nouveau for a fresh baguette is a good day. They make a light and smooth quiche, unlike some that are so dense and heavy you feel guilty. Their pastries and cakes are tasty, too, but you knew that already.
Always been a big fan of their twice baked almond croissants. Spoiled a lot of my friends with it over the years. Their garlic parmesan bread is quite delicious too. Tiramisu was not that great though!
Stopped in this morning and so many pastries to choose from!! Great selection and their dark mocha is a must try as well!
