Babaka's Pizzeria

We stopped in on 12/23/23 in the evening and ordered a margarita pizza, Caesar salad and the Philly cheesesteak to-go. We ran a quick errand while they prepped our order and it was perfect timing. (Between 10-15 minutes at most.). We took our order back to our hotel and everything was fresh and delicious. We also had enough for leftovers, so we really had food for 4 for about $40. More than reasonable for the quality of food. Staff member was also very friendly. We’ll be back next time!

Food was cold even though we had to wait for it. I ordered a chicken cheese steak. Don't know what I got. Some sort of cubed chicken, raw onions, sautéed mushrooms for extra .50 cent, and minimal cheese if any. See Pic. Will not return. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

Added jalapeños to the Greek pizza and the flavor was great; especially the outer 2” of crust. It would be even better if the bottom was a little more done/crusty and the center less runny (slides off the slice).

It’s been a few years since I have eaten at Babaka’s. It’s still the floppy mess that it was the last time I had one. It’s so obvious that no one cares. The ingredients are randomly tossed on what is a fairly decent sauce. But think about it, all of the individual ingredients are purchased from a supplier like other similar pizzerias , nothing unique here. Then Babaka’s supposedly make their own crust and then all you have to do is know how to cook it. They must heat the oven to about 250F because the pepperoni was barely cooked at all. The doesn’t really taste bad, but it is a messy glob of dough saturated in liquid. Dave Portnoy would throw it on to the street. Some pepperoni was stacked in “threes”. The only reason to go to Babaka’s is to experience the atmosphere. I will not even attempt to describe it. Suffice it to say it is one pathetic pizza. One bite, blow hash.

The pizza was good but this review is about the wings. This was our first time ordering here. We added 8 hot wings to our order and we were blown away. This is exactly how wings are supposed to be prepared.

In town for the weekend, food was great, sub, pizza, wings, all fresh, and taste great.. 10/10

Best pizza in North Myrtle. Staff are always friendly and it never takes long for my order to be ready!

We always come here every year while on vacation. This last experience will be our last. We got 2 Pizza’s and Spaghetti 9/18/23 and it was awful. It was greasy (more than normal) and had a horrible taste, actually no taste at all. The meatballs looked Green on the spaghetti! It was just an overall bad experience!!! Waste of $$ the staff was nice that was the only good part
