Azteca Mexican Grill

I had to edit my first post. I've been coming here for a few years now drive all the way from Pueblo to come and eat here. I still stand by there food being so amazing I love it, but the service is awful. Every single time I come I've seen my waitress once to order and normally someone brings out food. This last time was ridiculous I had to find another waitress or maybe host to get us some boxes and our check. I make it a big deal to overip our waiters but I don't even like leaving a dollar here. It feels like your invisible. I wish they were more friendly or at least check in more cause the food is so good, but I don't even want to go anymore when Everytime it's a bad experience Food was absolutely amazing just wonderful, colorful ,and fresh. They pack a hard margarita. The only downside was the wait staff don't know if they were all having a bad day but they were all quite and not very inviting and we only saw our waiter twice but the food was worth it.

First visit. Had family in town and we were hungry having missed lunch & I was looking for something I hadn't tried. Driving by my brother pointed it out. Chilly out, we sat inside. Happy Hour drinks & appetizers were in 15 minutes, and we were early, yet when we got our bill our waiter had hooked us up (Thank you!!) Service was great. Waiter was super friendly, and his server was great. Took drink & wings order within 5 minutes. Refilled drinks... checking if everything was good at least twice. Tamales with red chili pork were so perfect! OMG. I just had a plain white woman's chicken sandwich. Not a long wait on the wings or our entrees. We grabbed a piece of tres Leche to go. Yum. And huge! Prices were crazy fair especially given the location. There are plenty of entrees well under $20 bucks, and lots of other choices over that. Metered parking right across the street. I imagine the patio is idyllic in the summer & in evenings. They serve beer, wine & liquor. I'll absolutely be back. Wish I had found the place sooner! Parking: Parking is right across the street. It is metered, so you'll need change.

Worst margarita I’ve ever had. Tasted like watered down Gatorade with salt. Inexcusable. The food is good, though - on a par with places with hour+ waits. Wait staff super friendly but a little distracted. Outdoor courtyard very lovely. 4 stars because you can always drink beer.

Some of the friendliest wait staff in Taos.....great food at great prices....go and sit on the patio and enjoy enchanting Taos the way it was meant to be appreciated!!!

Fulfilled my fiancés Mexican food craving. Food was good but not worth what we paid, but welcome to inflation. You have to wait outside to be seated which is weird. Especially cold in the winter. Our server kept dissing us and trying to come back later. It was good. But not great.
