Avli Milwaukee

It was my first time going to Avli with some of my friends, and this did not dissappoint. The food was absolutley incredible and the atmosphere is unmatched. It is a smaller dining area, but it makes the experience and the service more personal. Will be recomending this place to everyone!

The food is meh, ok, but meh. Lacks the flavor you expect from Greek food. We were seated in the basement which had a musty smell that was a bit overpowering. Service was good but he handed us the check after we asked for boxes. Never asking us if we wanted dessert prior to giving us the check.

Everything was great! From the service to the food. Absolutely enjoyed it. Would love to seat on the patio next time when it's warmer outside.

Great food and friendly service. Did not give 5 stars because it is pretty pricy for small portions. The Lamb is the best thing on the menu! Vegetarian options: not sure

My new favorite restaurant in Milwaukee! A beautiful location with a view of the Milwaukee skyline. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Be sure to make a reservation. The server was fantastic and walked us through the entire menu and made great suggestions. It's a family style, Greek inspired restaurant. We ordered the sampler and the Greek salad, and then shared 4 entrees between the 6 of us. Be sure to get extra pita, it's only $1 extra. The prawns were fantastic. They have Greek inspired cocktails that were beautiful, and we also enjoyed the two beer options brewed in Greece. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We will be back! Update! We came back and still loved it. The prawns were still a favorite as well as the sampler appetizer. The red pepper and hummus dips were amazing. Another update is the chocolate cookie dessert with vanilla ice cream. Make sure you save room for it!!

I wanted to come to Avli MKE since they opened. I’m glad I made it! We started with the Sampler dish, followed by Shrimp Souvlaki and Moussaka. All 3 dishes were excellent!! It was so hard to choose, since everything on the menu seems to be delicious! I look forward to trying them all ! The service was fine, a little rushed seemed like it, but the food is definitely worthy. Maybe I’ll order to go next time.
