The White House

Everything was great about The White House except when we received our food. To my surprise, most everything was fried. Typically French food is lambéing, sautéing, poaching, broiling, grilling, braising, pan frying, and baking. Not deep fried. No salad greens available. Such a disappointment

This place has it all! I’ll be back!

All together well, flavored some of the dishes could use a little bit of salt other than that very good.

For an upscale place,: no coat rack for my wife’s or my jacket. Wine menu was weak, the lighting was so bad you had to use you phone to see the menu or even the food. The drinks were very poorly made. The food was very underwhelming, the wait staff lacked understanding of basic menu or how to be present for the needs of the table. We paid over 300.00 and left hungry and disappointed. Find another place if you want to eat up scale dinning. Parking: The please look like a home that they put tables up on the living room. Parking was a small lot

We always love coming to White House. This is one of the few places in Milwaukee that gets it all right. Food is excellent, service is kind and attentive and the atmosphere is beautiful and romantic - also great playlist. We love coming here.

I pride myself on knowing where to find good food in Milwaukee, but had no idea this place had converted to a fine dining establishment. Everything is good. The carrot cake for dessert was the best I've ever had. If they have the wild mushroom risotto, get it! 11/10 overall.

Our second time at this very cool restaurant. Our two experiences couldn’t be more different. First everything was tasty and delicious… excellent dining experience. The second time we brought friends. The food was Cold.. sent it back. Still cold. Everything was cold. The food wasn’t as good as our prior visit. All 6 of us agreed it fell short of our expectations.
