Aspire Lounge, Belfast City Airport

Recently refurbished and a lovely lounge, the staff are very friendly. Food and drink are decent.

Great space. Well maintained. Not a lot by way of food choice but it’s more than adequate. If I’m honest, feels nicer than the club lounges at Heathrow

Excellent lounge, one of the best ones I’ve been to around the world. Good choice of drinks and snacks and food was constantly being brought out. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I was stuck here for over 4 hours as my flight was delayed, but time flew by. Lots of seats and tables and wi fi was good so I could get some work done. Very pleased, will be back!

Sticky floor despite not long open. I arrived at 6.30am. Wasn't impressed decor is nice, food was cold, this was breakfast time, no toaster, more an English Breakfast. Biggest shock you had to pay extra if you wanted prosecco. Definitely wouldn't pay to go in there, i just went in as my plane ticket entitled me.

The refurb is nice and a big improvement on what was there before. Very odd that the toilets remain pretty much the same as before. They're generally dirty and pretty horrible. Food is reasonable but the quality of the sausages served at breakfast could be improved significantly. They are the sort where you're not really too sure what you're eating... Bread also needs to be improved and for some weird reason the baps served are always incredible dry and crumbley. Staff are great and do their best to make your stay a nice one.

Nice Aspire lounge that you can usually get into. Cracking view across the runway and harbour to the hills. Very calm and comfortable

This Sunday morning the lounge failed to open on time, a staff member was late, rude and unapologetic, signage explaining that when the doors are shut (even if they are unlocked) means the lounge is closed, was absent. Rather than politely apologize (on my part that would have been the end of it) the staff member seemed convinced it was this customer's fault. This was some of the worst service I have ever received in an airport lounge. It's unfortunate this is the only option for BAEC members at BHD and sad for Aspire's brand, which I am not particularly familiar with. This was a terrible impression of their staff training systems. Aspire's customer complaints were excellent and responsive. Let's hope that additional staff training will be forthcoming. Likewise I was given the opportunity to rate my flight by BA and made them aware of this unfortunate incident. The food, coffee and seating spaces were quite good. It's a pity one poor interaction can tarnish an otherwise pleasant visit and ruin the atmosphere completely.
