The best japanese restaurant in town. They are so good and have the best menu and food. They also have a great selection at the restaurant.
Quick takeout on the way home- very good, they food was fresh and a nice portion for a lunch special. Friendly hostess.
If there were a choice of no stars thats what I would have rated the food. Let's start with the Wonton soup: tasteless watered down soup with 2 Wontons. Combination dinner: Boneless pork ribs EXTREAMLY salty, 2 other people tried it and commented that it tasted like nothing but salt. The fried rice was tasteless and MUSHY, absolutely horrible. I don't know what they are using to make their fried rice but the cook needs to go to cooking school. Second entree was Shrimp with lobster sauce, 3 Shrimp and the rest was imitation crab meat in a sauce that seperated and became 2/3 rds water,1
Searched and found this place with a 5 star rating and had to try it. Did not disappoint, well-deserved rating!
Was nice to find. The good: Their tap water is first rate. Must be filtered or a really good supply. Sounds odd to say, but it affects the overall tastes: The rice was 100 out of 100, vegetables were carefully selected and expertly prepared. Salt level was moderate and I tasted no added MSG. Best tofu with garlic sauce ever. The Lo mein was good, but would be better if it were Chowed in the wok some more. (Make it a little smoky.) Prices are mostly moderate, though you can run it up. Portions size is good. The not so good: The dumplings seemed pre-packaged/frozen. They are trying to walk the line between authentic and American style cuisine. There are many authentic dishes that are popular in the US, such as Peking duck, cold noodles with sesame, Kung Pao chicken as examples. And don't put cabbage in the twice cooked pork! Or give us a choice of authentic or American style. They brought us donuts for dessert which were amazing.
I was skeptical when I seen the 5 star rating. But wow this place was awesome. The food is fantastic. Right off hwy 81. We will be back when traveling thru. Best Asian food I've had. Hunan chicken was great.
