Food was ok not the best bbq but decent I had the brisket and potatoe salad and good tater tots
Love the brisket. It's delicious!
We loved this place for texas ribs 🙂
I had not been here in years but recently was nearby at lunchtime. I enjoyed the small brisket plate -- they offered a choice of "juicy" (i.e. fatty) or lean meat (or 50/50). I've had too much dry brisket elsewhere so went with the juicy and it was excellent. I'd do 50/50 next time. I picked the tater tots for my side; they were nice and crispy without being burned or dry. They have a well-selected choice of draft beer.
Service was fine, staff was pleasant and helpful. But it's basic: you're just ordering at the register and picking up your food at the window.
Atmosphere is ok, hasn't changed in 20 years that I can see. Good enough.
Ordered at cheese burger with fries and a brisket platter to go. The price was a surprising $50. When I got home the brisket was like eating my father’s 50 year old shoe. I don’t mind paying the money, but the quality needs to be there. Horrible! Will never go back.
Being from Texas, I’m pretty picky about my barbecue, but this place never disappoints. We come here almost every week, and it’s always a hit with the whole family. The flavors are spot on—brisket that’s smoky and tender, ribs that melt in your mouth, and sides that are as good as any you'd find back home. Plus, the prices are super reasonable. We end up spending about what we would at a BBQ joint in Texas. My kids are big fans, too, which is always a win. This spot has quickly become our go-to for a true taste of Texas!
No smile but the food is FIRE. In her defense it was early...
Music selection could be better, no country music playing, Texas ribs on the dry side. Baby backs really good, brisket was juicy, boneless chicken was good, corn bread was great
Very good price for good yummy food
It was alright we were there for a fundraising event it was nothing to write home about food came in less than 10 min staff was helpful and very active we were missing a cornbread and they checked our recipe and gave us our cornbread , it was ok not great
"As a Texas native, I know good barbecue, and this place nails it every time. My family and I come here weekly, and it’s like a little taste of home. The brisket is perfectly smoked, the ribs fall off the bone, and the sides are just as good as what you'd find in Texas. The best part? It’s affordable, too. We spend about the same amount here as we would back home. My kids love it, and it's become a regular spot for us. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Texas BBQ!"
Texas ribs where dry and tasted chemically
