Just because its in an airport does not mean it needs to be bad. Have had plenty of good airport meals but this was not one of them. Cold scrambled eggs, luke warm hash browns and par cooked bacon. The only saving grace was the toast and ok coffee. If I wasn't hungry I would have left it. Self serve online ordering underlines why the serving staff have a complete no care attitude and spent most of the time sitting around. if you are walking past the Apropos keep walking and try somewhere else.
Do not order the YYZ Chicken Sandwich. It comes as a big chicken nugget between two pieces of bread, plus a side of salad drenched with the grossest, strongest, garlic acid you’ll ever taste.
Being stuck in the airport for four hours, as I waited for delay after delay, we finally decided we needed to eat a decent meal before we got on the flight. The restaurant was messy while staff were standing around, the only person working was the 60-year-old kind waiter who was picking up after all the 25-year-olds. It’s bad enough that Air Canada is a dismal representation of a national airline carrier, it adds insult injury that Apropos doesn’t even have a manager watching what’s going on in the busiest airport in Canada.
Medium quality products. Basic service. My credit card has been charged twice and no way to obtain a refund. To be avoided.
I sat down, ordered, and paid. I was a little confused as to what I should do next. I didn't see any servers, or even where the food would come from. I finally saw a couple of ladies working on the side of an island and asked. They explained the food would be brought to me. I was running tight for my connection so I was getting antsy. There weren't really servers to talk to and let them know I was in a bit of a rush. In the end, my shrimp salad showed up. It was what I expected. 5 breaded shrimp, some greens, and a little bit of Italian dressing. The price was quite high for what I received... but no Tip was requested! That was a first. Kid-friendliness: There was a Child category for food.
Staff doesn't speak English. Can't even answer basic questions. $20 for a teeny tiny glass of wine and they try to add 18% tip lol. Go elsewhere
Awesome!!!!!!!! Great service!!!!! Franco is the best!!!! Hakeem too!!!
You order through tablets in the table - delivery was fairly quick. There are outlets at all the tables and most are using the area for waiting for flights vs eating here. Music is a bit loud but you can still hear the announcements. Food was fine.... As usual quite expensive at an airport. This area in the US cleared area doesn't have a lot of selection so this a good option to get a salad. There are two islands across from each other over the main aisle. Vegetarian options: You can get salads Kid-friendliness: More of a lounge area... could be ok for kids, too... Wheelchair accessibility: I do see seats designated for disabled persons but not spots where there's no seat to allow for a wheelchair (though perhaps there are seats that easily remove for this purpose that isn't obvious to me)
