Another Broken Egg Cafe

The atmosphere was very inviting, which is always a great beginner for me as a first-timer. The staff/service was impeccable. The food was very good, I'd do it again. However, the Apple Pie Mimosa was not as expected, and I'd never do that again. But overall it's a, we can do it again.

Shrimp and grits were good. Shrimp was over seasoned but overall worth a try! Server was sweet and bubbly. Mimosas are wonderful, be careful, they creep up on you!

Staff here was rude lazy and not attentive. We were seated in a half full restaurant and given menus. 10 minutes go by with no acknowledgement no beverages. another few minutes go by..a waitress that can talk at the bar no problem acknowledges a newly seated couple. We left.. the people waiting see this and debate staying. I'm glad the hotels will keep you in business because no locals should ever try to eat here.

Had some good options and super nice staff. Ordered something that's not usually offered on the menu and they were still able to do it. I'm not a big fan of waffles. Asked if I could do chicken and pancakes (instead of waffles) and asked if they could make it the cookie dough pancakes (they have cookie dough waffles on the menu) They were able to do it for me and the waiter asked how it came out. It was.delicious and said he's never heard anyone doing that before and is going to recommend it to other customers. Love the vibe and how pleasant they are. Also went above and beyond getting my meal

First time I have been to Another Broken Egg. Went after a massage with my sister. We happened to be looking at some of the same menu items, so we got a few things to share. We each had an Apple Pie Mimosa and Blueberry Lemon Mimosa. We shared the Hey Lucy Omelet and Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancake with potatoes and chicken sausage. The chorizo was perfect... spicy and not greasy at all. The flavors in the pancake were very complimentary. I was also surprised by the goodness of the chicken sausage. Our server was extremely patient and took good care of us. We had a lovely brunch.

I got the smoked salmon benedict the salmon was good at least. My waiter only came twice for my drink and the check that’s it. It wasn’t busy when I arrived.

If the food weren’t really good this would be one star. The hostess was rude both when we first arrived and then when our table was ready. It just got worse. Our server may have been named Amattalla. That was the name on the receipt. Not sure though since she didn’t introduce herself or say more than ten words to us the entire time. She came over and said “What do you want to drink?” So she took our drink orders. After she brought those back she just took her pad out for our orders and stood there. So we ordered. The food came pretty fast, delivered by someone else which is fine. And the food was good. We had run out of drinks by this time, and our server was busy walking through the section sort of glaring at us to actually stop and ask if we needed anything else, like coffee or juice refills. So we finished our really good food without beverages. Finally I saw her coming to the table, so I thought maybe we could get refills but no she just looked at the table, saw empty plates, turned around and got the check without a word. Again. Dropped it off without a word. Disappeared for a long time but came back to pick it up without a word again. Which was completely fine because the only time she had spoken to us she scowled at us the entire time, so low interaction was fine by me even if I was pretty thirsty. We always tip at least 25% on even just average service. Like that is the baseline for us and it goes up the better the service. This server who seemed to hate the fact that we were there got $1 on a $40 check. That was being generous too. The server in the section next to ours seemed really friendly with her tables, so probably would have loved the place if we had her.
