Annata Wine Bar & Cellar

Had an incredible time at Annata. We planned a wine tasting as a Christmas present for my dad and were blown away by how above and beyond the owner, Tim, went for us. We picked out a few bottles ahead of time (with Tim’s help) and then Tim walked through each bottle with us, asking us what we tasted, telling us about the region, etc. The food was also amazing, we ordered a few charcuterie boards, dips, and flatbreads. Overall the food, drinks, company and ambiance were fantastic. We will definitely be back!!!

Of course, I forgot to take pictures, again. SO...we started in retail portion of Annata. Lovely selection of wine. Competitive pricing. Great space too. Retail on one side, wine bar restaurant on the other and potential meeting room or party room towards the back and deck in the back. Since it was cold and rainy we sat indoors for dinner and our wine flight. Menu had nice options that could be easily paired with any wine selection. Friend and I shared Cuban sandwich & melted Brie & Figs paired with the Sparkling Flight wine selection. Friendly service, good food, very nice wine selections.

GO TO RIPPLE. Wow. I have been here three times now and all service has been AWFUL. First two times I was with a group so waited it out but 10 plus mins from ordering to delivery. And then getting all orders wrong. Today was the worst. Waited 20 mins to order (whilst bartender told me to calm down and be patient when it was not crowded at ALL). We left. Went to ripple and it was so much better.

Very nice place, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Outdoor space is great. If you like real/authentic places, this is it. Will definitely be back.

Wines are delicious, the staff is knowledgeable and kind, and don’t forget the live jazz and budding food menu!
