Fantastic time! Fantastic Beer!
Came for the Day Fresh tour, Mark was an amazing tour guide! Very honest and informative, funny too! Would’ve loved to try the other routes, but the Day Fresh was just the right amount of tour for my partner and I!
Do yourself a favor and book this tour! We were able to book the brew master tour and it was so much fun! We booked approximately a week in advance and so glad we did. You get a hat and a collectors beer glass to take with you at the end of the tour. The tour takes about two hours and the time flies by! I am really not a Budweiser fan but this was so cool to see! I dont want to spoil too much but you get to drink beer from the settling tanks, you will not find any fresher beer! My only complaint was that they have TONS of different tours going on at the same time. In the beginning it started raining so three or four tour groups were forced inside of the horse barn until the rain subsided. Maybe go on a week day and this wont be such an issue. We also came early and ate lunch at the restaurant which is inside the visitors center. The food was pretty good, abut what you would expect from bar food. BEWARE: I ordered two beers separate and I think they were $5 each. I used my credit card and tipped with cash. When I checked my statement I was charged $12 for two beers, so just double check and get a receipt. Overall we had a lot of fun and I would definitely do the tour again. TAKE MY ADVISE and just book the brew master tour, you will be glad you did!
Awesome historic brewery, you can feel the history! Did the 1 hour tour and it was great to see the inner workings of the brewing process. The Clydesdales are majestic and powerful.
Very cool and interesting. Highly recommend the Beermaster Tour. Sells out fast so I'd order ahead of time.
This is a MUST for anyone making St. Louis their hometown!! It's different tours to rsvp, so make sure it’s a drinking/tasting tour & it’s fun!! Some of our party didn't arrive on time (me) & was offered the nxt tour! **closed shoes" , no heels, flip-flops, sandals etc, gift shop but bring ur own shoes!! Or at the least socks, they did have some shoes to borrow depending on size & I lucked up they had my size! I must say, the tour guide had patience with us a group, we had all kinds of blend of people which made it interesting & exciting!! Seeing the xtra huge barrels of beer...the tour guide told the story of underground access being fictional, but as a student of the school directly across from it in the 80's (1986/1987) I debunked tht myth cuz we know the truth, cuz we explored & those caught got into major trouble & we all ran down the alley ways so none of the teachers or Principals knew who skipped school!! Oh, here's something else, it's 36° in one of the tour chamber, I didn't hv a jacket on w/short sleeve crop shirt & jeans...it was freezing then tolerable but take a sweater/cover!! Before we toured we had food & I ordered minestrone soup inquired if it was vegetarian, Yes & went to ask...I'm eating the soup but, it tastes of meat I ask again, now I'm told it has chicken inside & they replaced it fries & cheese sauce, which I would've ordered if I wanted fried food, but I didn't make a fuss cuz our tour was about to start!!
Loved the day fresh tour. It was 1:15 minutes long and they walked us around some cool operating brewing machinery. It's a large compound so wear comfortably and be prepared to walk around. They have a tour bus at the end of the tour to get folks back to the beer garten, which is a cool restaurant with beers and generic food.
