Angelo's Pizzeria

The staff are super are super accommodating, offer to help you outside with your pizza (I always make extra trips) and the rare times they've made an error in my order, they remake my food and don't charge bc of my wait. Fantastic food and people. I just love the Greek pizza!! Parking: The parking lot is across the front of the building, diagonally. I've never not been able to park. When backing out, especially on weekends, look carefully bc people are coming and going. It's a narrow parking lot with enough room, but you don't want to take a driver's door off, back out at the same time as another driver or in front of an incoming car.

The place was really hopping..mostly with take out orders..but always a sign of good food..

Wanted to make spaghetti and meatballs at home but my significant other convinced me to order spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and a side salad from Angelo's Pizzeria. The side salad was good, Caesar dressing was good. Garlic bread was soggy but tasty. The spaghetti and meatballs was an unmitigated disaster. The spaghetti was over cooked and mushy. It's such an easy thing to get right... The meatballs were in fact sliced up into quarters and tasted like a freshly opened can of cat food. They were edible but rather unpleasant. It only took one look at the website to realize that the menu is larger than the holy bible and that's why the quality of the food is sub-cat food... It should be illegal to sell "meatballs" when the end product is sliced up balls of "meat" that smell like a can of Fancy Feast. This restaurant is an absolute disaster. The delivery drivers are nice and they bring your food quickly.

I have been a loyal customer of Angelo's for over a decade, they truly model what a good business looks like. The owner is a phenomenal man of integrity compassion and GREAT FOOD. Anyone that is ever new to the area and looking to get a taste of Bangor I ALWAYS RECOMMEND ANGELOS. Thank you so much for being a pillar of amazing food in the area and always being a pleasure to go to and eat at.
