was a bit worried after reading a few 1 or 2 star reviews but 3 beef ribs I had were very smokey and tender yet chewy. ribs came with sauce already, more of sticky type than runny but goes well with smokey ribs. I liked side toasts with some cheddar sauce on 'em and lightly cajun fries. without knowing I stood and waited for about 30 mins or so (no chair and area's kinda dark) but food was worth the wait. Amos allows call-in so next time Imma call in to try other stuff!
One of the best food joints north of Minneapolis, located in Columbia Heights..I love this place.. always hot, delicious food that's cooked fresh when ordered, be prepared to wait, this is not a fast food joint, but well worth the wait..
Stopped in after getting my hair done across the street. I'd heard really good things, and, oh my word, I was not disappointed. Meaty, well seasoned, deliciously done. I got the six bone meal: six ribs, fries, coke slaw and toast. I'm what my mother would call a "good little eater", and it is unusual for me to not finish, but dang. Six meaty bones? I ate three, half the fries, the slaw and half the toast and was happy to leave the rest for the next day.
They are way to overpriced
