Would have gave it more stars if it wasn’t for the bartender. We had a first round of cranberry and vodka then the next round it was only cranberry juice and no vodka. They charged us full price for the drinks with no alcohol. This happened multiple times during different visits. If you plan on going here for drinks, don’t bother.
Steak was awesome hashbrowns kinda dry bloody Marys were fantastic so was our bartender she was so sweet.definatly be going back thank you guys
Amazing steak dinner with baked potato, salad bar & good garlic bread. Fun atmosphere with a positive vibe.
Ok y'all, hear me out. This place isn't the fanciest, but that's what makes it great. They cook up a steak sexier than a summer dress on a windy day. The char makes you want to run out into the street and yell a high pitched "yeah" at the top of your lungs. The menu is so reasonably priced, and the portions so large, you'll struggle not leaving a larger tip than you normally would. Know what you're getting yourself into, Post 71 is full of "regulars", so you may get an up and down look as an outsider, but the staff are as friendly as can be and will make sure you are well taken care of. Sadly, I missed the memo that the André the Giant worthy T-bone steak is only served on Saturdays and requires a two day in advance RSVP. If you want a good solid meal that won't break the bank, come over and support Post 71.
If I were limited to one word to describe this place it would be outstanding. The quality and price point of the food is unparalleled. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome.
I've been a member for years The food is geriatric...best Sunday breakfast in town!
We have been coming down with the family and having amazing steaks and Karaoke for 15 years. Last night I ordered the T-bone medium rare. I received a well done steak. Wow. So the waitress agreed and I sent it back. The cook prepared another one that finally arrived at 10:30 pm. It was well done again! I did eat a few bites out of pure starvation. Adam, the cook came up to me and started yelling and pounded on the bar as he threatened me. He wanted me to pay for a 1/4 of the steak for the few bites I had. Wow!! He walked out from around the bar and started to fight with me as the the other cook held him back. I couldn't believe it. I was astonished at his anger and wanting to fight. Well I paid the $15 for the partial steak and went and sat down trying to forget what happened. The waitress was apologizing for his actions and we left. It will be hard to return after this
Warm & Inviting atmosphere. I love this place and frequent it often. The regulars are all friendly and the drinks are cheaper than your average bar. You don’t have to be a Veteran to enjoy this place. Someone at the bar would gladly sign you in.
Their breakfast is great! They were busier than expected and short staffed, but they were wonderful! Love to all of our Military!
Awesome place. Killer pool on mondays, Best steaks in town on Saturday! Excellent staff and friendly crowd.
